Perfect location, in the city center, right beside the metro station. The staffs speak fluent English. In addition, there are numerous wonderful restaurants near the hostel.

Good location, de beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was OK, a bit of a small shower, but it worked. The price is also really reasonable.

Lots of noise from the streets with an ambulance passing every 2h of so at night. Also noisy neighbours that were playing music at every hour of the evening and night. Luckily they stopped playing it when we asked them to be quiet, but the next evening, it was the same all over again.

the location was excellent plus the two ladies at the reception were very helpful and friendly. it was great value for the amount i paid.

The location was the best thing about this place, I could walk everywhere! Staff were quite friendly on the day I arrived but the reception staff changed every day and the other times I interacted with them they weren't as nice.. Felt surprisingly safe there as I was staying on my own. The cleaning ladies were quite nice and helpful.

Very very very noisy at night, woke up many times with groups of teenagers talking incredibly loudly and banging doors in an equally loud way... No water in my room nor the showers next to it on the last day I was there so had to have a shower in what felt like it was the cleaning ladies facilities..

Staff were friendly and the room was a good size and clean. The only problem we had was quickly resolved. The hostel was in an excellent spot, right on Gran Via.

There were no twin rooms available despite us booking one and being told all was well. We ended up being moved to a six bed room, only for the two of us, which despite being better and more spacious, was not what we booked.

The location, it's right by the subway (Plaza de España), right in gran via. Considering that, the price is great.

My room was really really hot and there wasn't a way to turn the temperature down. It was noisy because our window was on the side of gran via.

It lacked: cleanliness, natural light, an elevator that didn't smell... It had: windows that didn't close, an absolute lack of cleanliness, an awful bathroom... I really wouldn't recommend it, I could barely sleep as I was so grossed...

Fantastic location, very close to a Metro station and very close to the centre of the city. Room was quite large. There is an elevator, which is very handy as we were on the 8th floor.

The room was very cold at night. When we asked for an extra blanket, we were treated like this was a most ridiculous request.

Good place if you need a bed only ( and access to a shower, of course) in a private room at a price you would otherwise pay for a bed in a dormitory. Great location and metro station next door.

Quite noisy in the morning. Not from traffic, but from slamming doors which make you get up as early as 7 or 8 am. WiFI is for free, but very unreliable especially in the evening ( too many users). Heating is turned off at night. Bring warm sleepwear in winter.

I really liked the fact that the hostal is very central.

No problems at all. I just do not recommend travellers to stay there in Summer. It is too hot and no air conditioning in the rooms.

Location

Some staff, value for money. My booking was for private bath. There was none and none of the staff understood the meaning of the phrase. Why they needed my key for cleaning one day and not the next.

They can clean the room more often.
